Gaggia MAGENTA Prestige

Gaggia Magenta Prestige:

The elegant and modern Magenta Prestige machine represents a new era of Gaggia super-automatic espresso machines. Equipped with a convenient one-touch milk carafe, a vibrant color display, and capacitive touch controls, the Magenta Prestige makes preparing your favorite coffee drinks, such as cappuccinos, flat whites, and americanos, easier than ever at home. With extensive customization options, you can further refine your beverages to suit your preferences.

Features and Performance

The Gaggia Magenta Prestige offers the best of Gaggia's beverage preparation programs. Following the example of the Cadorna series, the Magenta allows you to fully customize every drink on the menu, setting your desired temperature, brew strength (or pre-ground coffee), and volume for all coffee drinks, as well as the desired amount of milk if needed. In line with modern tastes, the full beverage menu offers a total of 12 selections, including: ristretto (x2), espresso (x2), espresso lungo (x2), coffee (x2), americano, cappuccino, café au lait, café cortado, frothed milk, flat white, latte macchiato, and hot water.

To customize a drink to your taste, simply select it from the menu and enter your desired changes. All 12 drink options are available in the home menu with clear color icons for each beverage. Whenever you change the settings for a drink, you will be prompted to save the changes at the end of the brewing cycle. To enable such a wide range of drink options, Gaggia has equipped the Magenta with a high-quality steel cup stand that can be placed on the drip tray for taller cups or locked into the front of the machine to raise the cup closer to the spouts and prevent splashing. The drip tray cover itself is a high-quality piece of integrated steel that attaches with a magnet for a more premium fit and finish.

The main star of the Magenta Prestige coffee machine is, of course, the automatic milk carafe. When preparing a milk-based drink, it automatically froths and dispenses the milk as it locks onto the front of the machine. After brewing, you can use the quick clean function to rinse the carafe before the next use, and you can access the deep cleaning function in the Magenta's menu. When not in use, you can store the carafe in the refrigerator and insert the included water spout attachment instead. Perhaps most impressively, the software logic changes the order of coffee or milk dispensing for each drink, with milk first for cappuccinos and latte macchiatos, and coffee first for café au lait, cortado, and flat white.

Why you should have it

The Magenta Prestige is the perfect machine for a smaller number of users who still drink a wide variety of beverages, as it offers compelling choices like a true Americano, which adds hot water to a freshly brewed espresso at the touch of a button. The one-touch carafe makes it easy to prepare diverse, delicious, and authentic milk drinks with minimal effort and cleaning. The Gaggia Magenta Prestige is a step in a modern direction for Gaggia, as it looks better than ever with its striking red trim, color display, and capacitive buttons, and is sure to impress guests with its Italian design.
